Collen Khumalo

Director

Collen Khumalo, a Professional Quantity Surveyor (PrQS), RICS Acre Mediator and founder of Kalipi completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) back in 2015. He has both international and local experience in negotiating and managing contracts, handling the management of the business operations, organizing the business function in a cost effective, quality assured and strategic manner.

He has over 25 years extensive experience in all aspects of quantity surveying having worked on a wide range of projects in South Africa, UK and UAE.

He has held several senior managerial positions in blue-chip multi-national companies and mainly acting as an advisor and leader on a wide range of construction projects.

These include in the industrial, building, civils, infrastructure, mining and water sectors.

Director

Mr Sydney Nkosi Jere is a qualified and recognized Civil Engineering and Project Management professional based in Pretoria South Africa. He worked extensively in the Southern Africa region providing outstanding, reliable engineering and project management services on a range of civil and structural engineering projects.

Sydney has over 20 years’ experience in the engineering and project management. During this period he has worked for organizations such as the Canadian International Development Agency (1 year), Binge Africa (4 years), DBSA (2 years) and Tank Projects (5 years) where he gained valuable experience in the delivery of key engineering projects. His duties ranged from conceptualization to commissioning and he played critical roles in business development and strategic partnerships, project appraisals, infrastructure business plan development, financing and investment, feasibility studies, preliminary and detailed designs, contract documentation and contract management.

In-house training is conducted to suit the needs of such individuals and takes the form of workshops, seminars, and similar activities. This training is supervised by the directors and staff of Kalipi.

We offer specialised guidance for candidate engineers, in steps required by engineering counsel, through and in house programme. Reg No: CU 20230051
